Spent Christmas at a hotel near the motorway and it was perfect! the hotel was ideally located close to the A7, making it easy for us to get there after a long drive. the staff were really helpful and welcoming too, which made a big difference. We particularly enjoyed the lovely Christmas decorations in the hotel, and the delicious festive buffet they put on for guests. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and we appreciated the free WiFi and big flat screen TV.

Only downside was that there were a few hairs left in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned properly. This wasn't a major problem, but it would have been nice if they'd paid a bit more attention to detail when cleaning the room.

The area where the hotel is situated is beautiful. There is a nearby canal where guests can walk their dogs or take a refreshing swim in the lake just a 20-minute walk away. Allowing dogs in the hotel is also a plus point. Despite some reports of unfriendly staff in the reviews, the waitresses are mentioned to be top-class and helpful.

Clean and bright rooms were a plus point for this hotel and added to the comfort of our stay. We particularly enjoyed the conveniently located terrace area, which made for a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a good selection of food on offer to start the day off right.

We were disappointed to find that our room was lacking some modern amenities and didn't have the best heating system, making it feel a bit chilly at times. We also had some trouble with the staff, as there was a miscommunication regarding our reservation and the hotel seemed to overbook.
